About the Role

Precision Garage Door Service in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, is seeking a dedicated Scheduler and Dispatcher to join their Customer Service department. This full-time in-office role operates Monday through Friday and is essential for coordinating installation schedules and managing the flow of daily operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and assign garage door installation jobs by evaluating readiness, job specifics, and technician factors such as location, difficulty, and availability.
• Liaise with customers to arrange installation appointments, communicate preparation instructions, and maintain detailed records of conversations with necessary follow-ups.
• Utilize the ServiceTitan scheduling platform to create appointment windows, allocate jobs to technicians, and confirm schedules via emails or text messaging.
• Monitor delivery manifests, anticipate operational demands, and handle out-of-market job allocations to optimize daily productivity.

Candidate Profile

• Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to effectively direct scheduling conversations.
• Proficient or comfortable with scheduling software; experience with ServiceTitan is advantageous.
• Meticulous attention to details including understanding job tags, locations, skill requirements, and delivery considerations.
• Self-driven team player who can prioritize tasks under pressure and adapt flexibly to changing needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in dispatch, field service scheduling, or operations coordination.
• Familiarity with garage door types and installation processes.
• Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish are a plus but not mandatory.
