Role Overview
The role focuses on identifying suitable award nominees, engaging them through outreach, and supporting them through the nomination journey. It also involves research, relationship management, collaboration with internal teams, reporting, and participation in industry events.
Key Responsibilities
- Research awards that are relevant to the industry and maintain a thorough comparison of competing awards, updating this information regularly.
- Connect proactively with possible award nominees through phone, email, and social media, clearly communicating the value and recognition associated with nominations.
- Support nominees through the full awards nomination process by explaining criteria, timelines, and documentation requirements, and by helping assemble and submit nomination materials.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with prospective nominees through a thoughtful, personalized approach and responsive communication.
- Work with internal teams to create accurate and engaging content that explains the awards and their importance.
- Maintain detailed records of outreach efforts, submitted nominations, and nominee conversations, and prepare regular updates on progress, conversion, and engagement.
- Stay current on industry developments, achievements, and notable contributors to identify strong nomination prospects and suggest improvements to the outreach process.
- Represent the brand at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to promote awards and gather market insights.
Experience and Skills Required
- At least 2 years of experience in B2B sales, inside sales, telesales, business development, community recognition, or event sales.
- Background in events or media is preferred.
- Strong spoken and written communication ability in both English and Hindi.
- Practical experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, or similar platforms.
- A proven history of consistently achieving or exceeding sales goals.
- Familiarity with B2B prospecting tools such as Apollo, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Comfortable handling large volumes of outbound calls and disciplined follow-up routines.
- Exposure to enterprise or corporate selling, including interactions with C-suite buyers.
- Skilled in using LinkedIn for research and outreach to prospects.
- Self-driven, goal-oriented, and able to stay resilient under pressure.
