Role Overview
This position is instrumental in delivering superior clinical home care to medically fragile patients, supporting their growth in home environments. The Care Experience Coordinator is responsible for optimizing patient satisfaction and caregiver involvement by managing all facets of caregiver scheduling and operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain weekly caregiver schedules that fulfill patient care requirements while limiting unfilled shifts
- Coordinate timely communications regarding schedule adjustments with direct care teams and families
- Ensure proper matching of clinicians to patients based on qualifications and care needs
- Analyze Electronic Visit Verification data to maintain compliance with regulatory and billing standards
- Collaborate with recruitment teams to address staffing needs
- Monitor and enhance fill rates to guarantee authorized hours and services are delivered consistently
- Work with branch leaders to identify growth prospects and boost staffed weekly hours strategically
- Lead initiatives to reactivate inactive caregivers and cultivate a preferred workplace culture
- Coordinate with teams to maintain licensure and credential compliance for field personnel, including re-credentialing
- Act as the main liaison for families on staffing and experience matters, conducting regular satisfaction check-ins
- Resolve clinical or safety concerns collaborating with clinicians and leadership
- Manage payroll processing and promptly handle related inquiries
- Maintain detailed records of hours worked, leave requests, and payer usage
- Support patient referrals and onboarding efforts with clinicians
- Ensure adherence to labor laws, HIPAA, and company policies
- Participate in after-hours on-call rotations and special projects or audits
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable using EMR systems
- At least two years of experience in staffing, customer service, or operations coordination
- Bachelor’s degree or similar experience preferred
- Experience in healthcare staffing or home care preferred
- Familiarity with applicant tracking and recruiting systems is a plus
- Bilingual skills are an advantage
