Role Overview

The Business Operations (BizOps) team addresses critical business challenges through strategic and operational initiatives. As a member of this close-knit team, you will partner with leaders across Product and Go-To-Market (GTM) functions, driving projects that significantly impact customers, partners, and financial outcomes. The role involves detailed analysis, management of operating rhythms, and collaboration with multiple departments including Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Partnerships. This position serves as a gateway to leadership roles across various operational domains at Plaid and requires strong analytical capabilities, structured problem-solving, and proactive management of ambiguous situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic and operational priorities for Product or GTM units, managing associated cross-functional initiatives
• Develop and maintain essential operational procedures such as monthly business reports, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), objectives and key results (OKRs), key performance indicators (KPIs), and executive communications, evolving them alongside business growth
• Create dashboards, metrics, and success criteria to provide leadership with clear visibility and promote data-driven decision-making
• Collaborate on product strategies including pricing, commercialization, and GTM planning for both new and existing products
• Integrate AI-based tools and agents into your workflow as standard practice to enhance productivity and outcomes

Candidate Qualifications

• Between 6 and 11 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or operational roles such as BizOps, Strategy & Operations, or Finance
• Highly comfortable with ambiguity, exercising strong autonomy in prioritizing impactful tasks
• Proven ability to build relationships across organizational levels and foster cross-functional alignment
• Experience with AI tools and agents to streamline workflows is advantageous
• Working knowledge of SQL and Tableau is preferred
• Background in fintech, payments, or dynamic SaaS environments is a plus

Compensation and Benefits

The total compensation ranges from $162,000 to $237,000 annually and may include equity and/or commission depending on the role. Our comprehensive benefits package covers medical, dental, vision care, and a 401(k) retirement plan. Salary and benefits are determined based on factors such as job scope, experience, skill set, and location, and are subject to adjustment consistent with company policy.
