Role Overview

The Business Operations (BizOps) team at Plaid tackles critical business challenges through strategic and operational problem solving. This role collaborates with leaders across Product and Go-to-Market (GTM) teams to execute initiatives that impact customers, partners, and company profitability. Responsibilities include managing analytics, operational rhythms, and cross-functional projects involving Product, GTM, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Partnerships. The position suits a proactive, highly analytical individual comfortable with ambiguity and structured problem solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic and operational planning for Product or GTM teams, managing associated cross-functional projects.
• Maintain and improve core operating processes such as monthly business reports, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and executive-level reporting.
• Develop dashboards, metrics, and performance indicators to provide leadership with actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
• Contribute to product strategy aspects like pricing models, commercialization efforts, and GTM strategies for both new and established products.
• Incorporate AI tools and agents into everyday workflows to enhance productivity and outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• 6 to 11 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or operational roles such as BizOps, Strategy & Operations, or Finance.
• Ability to thrive in uncertain environments with autonomy over prioritizing impactful work.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build alliances and consensus across diverse teams and organizational levels.
• Familiarity with AI technologies to improve workflow efficiency is advantageous.
• Preferred knowledge of SQL and Tableau for data analysis and visualization.
• Experience within fintech, payments, or fast-growing SaaS companies is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role is $162,000 to $237,000 annually, with potential additional compensation through equity and commissions depending on the position specifics. Benefits include health, dental, vision coverage, and a 401(k) plan. Compensation is determined by multiple factors including the role's responsibilities, candidate experience, skills, and location, and may be subject to change.
