Rainbow Tourism Group, operating in the hospitality industry, seeks to recruit a qualified Barman for their Food and Beverages Department located at Victoria Falls Rainbow Hotel in Zimbabwe.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages following established standards and procedures.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by employing service excellence techniques, including suggestive selling, upselling, and cross-selling, to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
• Keep track of bar inventory and restock supplies as necessary.
• Ensure correct billing and timely collection of payments from customers according to company policies.
• Maintain strict hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety protocols in the bar area.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess a National Diploma in Food and Beverage Service, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Have a minimum of two years of experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge of the Micros system is a valuable advantage.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and customer service abilities.
• Ability to foster service excellence and maintain positive relationships with guests and coworkers.
• Exhibit high levels of integrity, honesty, and professionalism.
• Maintain a pleasant personality with a strong customer-oriented attitude.

Additional Information

• Employment Type: Permanent full-time, onsite based at Victoria Falls Rainbow Hotel.
• Reports to the Food and Beverages Supervisor.
