Adeera Hospitality, a Public Investment Fund (PIF) company based in Saudi Arabia, operates hotels under three distinguished brands: Alia (ultra-luxury), Sama (lifestyle luxury), and Noor (midscale). The Design & Technical Services (D&TS) division manages hotel design reviews, technical standards, and oversees pre-opening processes across its expanding portfolio.

Internship Overview

The AI Specialist Intern will join the D&TS team to integrate AI and automation into the hotel design and development workflows. This practical role focuses on creating functional automation tools applied to live projects rather than research.

Key Responsibilities

• Automate workflows related to design review processes by collecting and consolidating development feedback from architecture, interior design, and MEP disciplines.
• Develop tools for document comparison and data extraction from consultant deliverables such as drawings, specifications, area programs, and bills of quantities.
• Organize and analyze project data including area programs, OS&E/FF&E schedules, and pre-opening trackers.
• Implement AI assistants trained on Adeera’s brand and technical standards to enhance speed and consistency in design reviews.
• Create documentation and brief presentations about the tools developed and present insights on evolving AI technologies relevant to design and construction workflows.

Within the first 90 days, the intern is expected to design and launch at least one automation tool on a live project workflow with team support.

Candidate Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, or Software Engineering.
• Proficient in Python and/or familiar with low-code automation platforms like Power Automate or Copilot Studio.
• Experience with large language model (LLM) APIs, prompt engineering, or building AI-assisted workflows is highly advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of machine learning concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience handling imperfect, real-world datasets.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; proficiency in English is mandatory, Arabic is preferred.
• Interest in hospitality, construction, design, or built environment is a plus but not required.
