Job Summary

The company is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk responsible for handling various fundamental Accounts Payable administrative duties. This includes processing invoices, approving expense reports, and making bank deposits promptly while ensuring accuracy in all tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter invoices into the accounting system and schedule payments accordingly.
  • Communicate with vendors to address and rectify invoice discrepancies.
  • Reconcile invoices to ensure consistency and correctness.
  • Authorize key expense reimbursements and statements for payment processing.
  • Record permit-related account entries.
  • Perform bank deposit tasks as required.
  • Manage vendor insurance documentation and their setup.
  • Conduct all business activities professionally and ethically to support customers and enhance company reputation and profitability.
  • Be willing to work overtime as necessary.
  • Verify company ownership of properties related to bills during research activities.
  • Investigate overdue invoices and follow-up accordingly.

Required Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Possession of six months to one year of relevant experience or training.
  • Strong skills in managing time effectively and prioritizing tasks.
  • Capability to accurately process and document large volumes of numerical information.
  • Ability to comprehend and carry out instructions given verbally, in writing, or via company applications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and email communication.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with general accounting procedures.
  • Experience working with payroll software and performing data entry.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is from $45,000 to $60,000 annually.
