Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder for immediate joining at our Chennai facility. The role involves joining metal components through various welding techniques, ensuring quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize manual or semi-automatic arc equipment to fuse metal parts in flat, vertical, or overhead orientations.
- Analyze blueprints, welding symbols, and technical schematics to accurately plan and execute tasks.
- Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, cutting, and grinding using appropriate tools like saws, grinders, or plasma cutters before welding.
- Inspect welds thoroughly for defects such as cracks or weak points to guarantee structural integrity.
- Regularly maintain welding equipment, including cleaning machines, cables, and ensuring safety gear is in proper condition.
