About the Role

Arthrex APAC is hiring a Warehouse Associate for its Singapore operations on a 1-year contract. Arthrex, Inc. is a worldwide medical device company recognized for product innovation and medical education in orthopedics, with a mission to help surgeons treat patients better.

Work Location and Reporting

  • Location: Bukit Merah, Singapore
  • Reporting line: Logistic Lead
  • This position requires the incumbent to remain on standby when needed.

Role Purpose

The role is focused on handling routine warehouse operations, including receiving, sampling, staging, storing, issuing, shipping, cycle counting, pack-out activities, and processing documents linked to material movement. The position also involves managing consignment inventory and supporting daily logistics tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accept incoming goods and process them according to safety, health, and environmental procedures.
  • Prepare, stage, and issue materials based on delivery picking lists, then ensure accurate recording in SAP and proper filing of documents.
  • Carry out pack-out tasks while maintaining cleanliness standards in the pack-out area.
  • Clean and sanitize pack-out rooms and isolators, and record temperature and humidity readings when required.
  • Complete delivery documentation accurately and according to instructions.
  • Allocate appropriate storage/bin locations for new products in the medical warehouse.
  • Perform inventory cycle counts as needed and note any variances in line with operating procedures.
  • Complete stocktaking every 3 months and take corrective steps whenever significant deviations are identified.
  • Inspect returned loaner instruments, implants, and consumable sets at the receiving staging area before placing them back into their assigned storage locations.
  • Monitor loaner sets and replace items with longer shelf-life versions when products are close to expiry.
  • Update the system for replenishment needs and for any missing or damaged items in loaner sets.

Education and Experience

  • High school education or equivalent practical work experience.
  • Prior exposure to medical device loaner set handling is preferred.
  • Experience in a medical or FMCG environment is preferred.
  • Previous work with a 3PL provider is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of GDPMDS is desirable, though compliance with the requirement is essential.
