Role Summary

The waiter/waitress will be responsible for handling food and beverage orders, recommending items to guests, delivering orders, and ensuring a consistently high level of guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and ensure they feel comfortable and looked after throughout their visit.
• Support restaurant opening and closing duties, including setting up the outlet.
• Present daily specials and chef recommendations to guests.
• Record orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
• Pass order details to kitchen staff clearly and promptly.
• Work with the kitchen team to help ensure food is prepared accurately and served on time.
• Keep guests informed about the progress of their orders when needed.
• Address customer concerns and complaints professionally.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and courteous manner.
• Coordinate with bartenders and runners to maintain smooth daily operations.
• Remove used plates, glasses, and condiments after guests finish dining.
• Maintain cleanliness in the restaurant and keep operational equipment clean.
• Restock service stations and condiment areas as required.
• Carry out other reasonable tasks assigned by supervisors from time to time.

Requirements

• High school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
• Prior exposure to food and beverage preparation or customer service is preferred.
• Ability to carry out repetitive tasks reliably.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong commitment to guest satisfaction and quality service.
• Must be based in Abu Dhabi or willing to relocate there.
