Role Overview

Reporting to the CFO and COO, this person acts as a bridge between finance operations and executive decision-making, helping leadership stay informed with clear, accurate, and forward-looking analysis.
This role works closely with the executive steering committee and supports board reporting, capital planning, and cross-functional financial strategy. It calls for someone who is highly analytical yet practical in execution, and who is comfortable both building sophisticated models and presenting insights to senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities
The position covers financial planning and analysis, reporting infrastructure, board support, and finance work across content and deal-related activities.

- Develop KPI dashboards and frameworks that give leadership timely insight into business performance.
Reporting and Finance Systems
- Set up and maintain management reporting that gives the executive team accurate and prompt financial information.
- Coordinate monthly close activities with accounting and make sure financial statements are reliable across all entities.
- Prepare reporting packs for the executive steering committee and the board of directors.
- Strengthen financial controls, processes, and systems so the organization can scale effectively.
Board and Executive Support
- Produce board-facing materials such as financial presentations, investment memos, and performance summaries.
- Support decisions around capital structure, including debt funding, investor reporting, and fundraising due diligence.
- Work with the CFO and COO on strategic projects, deal evaluation, and growth opportunities.
- Contribute as a trusted financial advisor in executive discussions by delivering clear analysis that supports decisions.

- Assess partnerships, licensing deals, and new market opportunities from both a commercial and financial standpoint.
- Support negotiations and financial due diligence for new business development and intellectual property expansion.
Requirements

- Exposure to multiple content and revenue streams such as film, television, music, merchandise, production, or licensing is an advantage.
- Experience combining corporate finance with content or deal strategy is beneficial.
- Prior work at a growth-stage company moving from single-market to multi-market operations is a plus.
- Familiarity with cap table management, fundraising, or investor-led/private equity-backed organizations is helpful.
