Overview

This contract role is for a remote studio speaker/voice-over artist who can deliver clean, professional spoken audio from a home studio setup. The work is focused on reading prepared scripts accurately, maintaining strong audio quality, and meeting project timelines.

Compensation and schedule

Pay is set at $30 to $50 per hour. The expected workload is 10 to 40 hours each week, depending on project needs.

Responsibilities

Deliver written scripts with accurate timing, natural expression, and clear delivery aligned to each project’s needs.
Record polished, consistent audio using a home studio environment.
Handle studio microphones and related recording equipment properly and keep them in good working condition.
Use clear, neutral English pronunciation that is easy for a wide audience to understand.
Work with project managers and audio engineers to apply notes, revisions, and quality updates.
Meet deadlines and submit completed work on time.

Requirements

Prior experience in scripted read-aloud work or voice recording is required.
Ability to produce stable, high-quality audio from a home studio setup.
Working knowledge of microphone use and basic audio troubleshooting.
Strong neutral or otherwise clear English diction and pronunciation.
A dependable, self-driven, and detail-focused working style.
