Kanarey Productions Inc. is seeking a creative Video Editor with a passion for anime and gaming to join our dynamic team. We are a leading producer of engaging content for the entertainment industry, focused on crafting exceptional narratives that resonate globally. In this role, you will transform raw footage into compelling visual stories, collaborating with our creative team to meet high standards of quality and creativity. You'll have the opportunity to edit trailers, promotional materials, and gaming content, enhancing the viewer experience and showcasing your skills.

Responsibilities

• Edit video projects efficiently, ensuring high-quality results aligned with project objectives.
• Work collaboratively with producers, directors, and team members to grasp project goals and creative direction.
• Integrate graphics, sound effects, and music to enhance the narrative and viewer engagement.
• Provide and receive feedback on initial edits to refine and elevate production quality.
• Effectively manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting all deadlines.
• Maintain organized project files and streamlined workflows for optimal efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies to introduce innovative ideas into the editing process.

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Film, Video Production, or a comparable field.
• Possess at least 2 years of professional video editing experience, preferably in the entertainment sector.
• Demonstrate expertise in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects.
• Present a robust portfolio exhibiting diverse edited videos that highlight creativity and storytelling prowess.
• Exhibit knowledge of sound design principles and color grading techniques.
• Show a genuine enthusiasm for anime and gaming, which informs creative output and audience understanding.
• Possess excellent communication abilities and a capacity for effective teamwork.
• Maintain a keen eye for detail and a dedication to producing superior work.
• Demonstrate the ability to perform well in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented setting.

Additional Information

This is a full-time, onsite position located in Torrance, CA.
