Job description
Role overview
Our client is a rapidly expanding hair care brand founded independently and seeking a video editor who can elevate social-first content with a polished, modern, and fashion-forward look. The ideal output is sleek, trend-conscious advertising for social media rather than traditional corporate video. This opportunity begins as a paid trial assignment and may lead to continued freelance collaboration as the brand grows.
What you will do
- Edit and shape short-form video assets for social channels, including Instagram and Snapchat-style advertisements.
- Develop visuals that feel contemporary, refined, quick-moving, and aligned with an edgy brand personality.
- Use Adobe Premiere as the primary editing tool to produce high-quality, brand-consistent video content, with CapCut experience considered an advantage.
- Work from mood boards, brand social profiles, and reference material to guide creative decisions.
- Complete trial deliverables as part of the paid initial project, with the possibility of repeat freelance assignments.
What the client is looking for
- A current reel or portfolio featuring short-form social video work, ideally for beauty, fashion, or lifestyle brands.
- Strong command of Adobe Premiere; familiarity with CapCut is helpful.
- A strong sense of editing rhythm, pacing, and what performs well in trend-driven social content.
- Confidence working from creative direction, mood boards, and example references.
- Availability for full-time freelancers, or full-time employees who can take on evening and weekend project work.
