Job description
Position Overview
A tech-sector client is seeking a short-term B2B Social Media Coordinator to cover day-to-day social activity during a team member’s parental leave. The main focus will be planning, creating, and publishing content, with LinkedIn serving as the primary channel. The work must support B2B marketing practices and stay aligned with campaign objectives.
This is a remote assignment and is expected to take about 5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee everyday social media tasks, with LinkedIn as the core platform
- Keep the social campaign calendar updated and organized so it supports B2B marketing efforts
- Develop and schedule polished, brand-consistent content for a professional business audience
- Maintain a thoughtful content balance that reflects campaign priorities and business targets
- Sort, prioritize, and respond to incoming requests for social posts
- Assess the best timing for publishing, especially to improve LinkedIn engagement
- Use established B2B social media and digital marketing practices in all work
Qualifications
- Hands-on background in B2B social media management and content development
- Deep knowledge of LinkedIn strategy, including posting, content planning, and engagement tactics
- Experience creating content for B2B or technology-oriented audiences
- Ability to juggle several requests and decide what needs attention first
- Strong attention to detail and well-developed organizational abilities
- Comfort working in a busy, fast-moving environment
- Experience in the technology or digital space is preferred
