Role Overview
The Venture Capital Analyst supports the identification, assessment, and tracking of investment opportunities in emerging and fast-growing businesses. The role centers on industry research, financial evaluation, sector analysis, and portfolio oversight to inform investment choices and help create long-term value.
What You Will Do
- Research industries, market trends, business models, and competitive environments to surface promising opportunities.
- Review startups and growth-stage companies by examining their offerings, market size, customer traction, revenue approach, and strategic fit.
- Carry out financial analysis, valuation work, and due diligence by studying financial statements, business plans, operating metrics, and performance data.
- Support deal sourcing by tracking innovative companies, following market developments, attending industry events, and building knowledge across new sectors.
- Help prepare investment memos, reports, presentations, and recommendations for decision-making.
- Assist with portfolio monitoring by reviewing company progress, operational and financial updates, and preparing portfolio summaries.
- Work with investment teams, founders, advisors, and other stakeholders to collect insights and support strategic work.
