About Wynn Al Marjan Island

Wynn Al Marjan Island is a luxury beachside resort destination being developed in the United Arab Emirates, with an opening planned for 2027. Situated less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, the integrated property will feature 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theater, a nightclub, and a five-star spa, all set on a scenic island in the Arabian Gulf.

About the Role

The resort is looking for a Linen Attendant to support the Kitchen Stewards team. This position focuses on linen control, storage, cleanliness, and coordination with Food & Beverage operations to ensure smooth daily service.

Key Duties

  • Accept soiled linen, count it carefully, and maintain a proper record of receipts.
  • Release clean linen according to requisitions and approved stock levels.
  • Keep detailed logs of linen movement, consumption, and available inventory.
  • Monitor missing or damaged items and escalate discrepancies.
  • Support quarterly linen stock counts and highlight items that need replacement.
  • Inspect linen for stains, tears, or other defects before it is issued.
  • Store linen correctly to avoid damage and maintain quality.
  • Work with Food & Beverage colleagues to understand linen requirements and solve issues.
  • Report improper linen use, including misuse such as using napkins for cleaning, to the Administration Manager.
  • Help maintain sanitation standards in the Food & Beverage linen room.
  • Assist in receiving, checking, and putting away goods and linen.
  • Keep storage areas orderly, clean the linen room and related equipment during shift handover or breakdowns, and maintain a tidy work area.
  • Attend all assigned training sessions and participate in daily briefings and meetings as required.
  • Follow house rules, grooming expectations, health and safety practices, and all departmental and hotel SOPs.
  • Use equipment responsibly, report faults promptly, and follow safety, first aid, fire, and emergency procedures.
  • Maintain daily issuance records and communicate updates professionally with team members, managers, and contractors.
  • Help build team spirit, support multicultural communication, and comply with company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.
  • Present a neat, hygienic, and professional appearance at all times.
  • Support hazard prevention efforts and participate in the company recycling program by reducing, reusing, and recycling.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant should have completed secondary school, while additional academic qualifications will be viewed favorably. Because of gaming-related regulatory requirements, candidates must be at least 21 years old. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a 5-star hotel or integrated resort is required, including at least 1 year in stewarding within multi-outlet or chain food and beverage operations. Applicants should understand the safe use, handling, and storage of cleaning chemicals and bring strong communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, physical fitness for tasks such as high-level cleaning and heavy lifting, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are important. Flexibility for shift-based schedules is also necessary. English fluency is essential, and knowledge of additional languages will be an advantage.

Benefits

The organization offers an attractive salary paid in AED, along with a strong leave policy, healthcare coverage, incentive programs, and other employee benefits.
