About the Role
Wynn Al Marjan Island is building a world-class integrated resort in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, due to open in 2027. Set on a scenic island that stretches into the Arabian Gulf and located under 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, the property will feature 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, a nightclub, and a five-star spa.
The resort is hiring Gaming Staff for the Table Games Operations team. In this role, you will help ensure table games are run accurately and in line with the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) standards as well as the resort’s approved gaming rules.
Key Responsibilities
Your work will center on delivering smooth, compliant table game operations while providing a high standard of guest interaction.
- Handle cards, settle losing wagers, and process payouts with precision.
- Operate assigned games such as Baccarat, Blackjack, Roulette, Poker, and other approved table games according to the established rules.
- Maintain game integrity by following company procedures and GCGRA table game regulations.
- Join department briefings and communicate relevant updates to the team.
- Support promotional activities on the gaming floor.
- Notify Gaming Management when chip replenishment or credit support is needed based on demand.
- Stay observant for unusual behavior, special player needs, and disputes, and escalate concerns to supervisors.
- Build familiarity with the resort’s facilities and services.
- Carry out additional duties assigned by Gaming Management.
- Welcome players in a polite, friendly, and professional way.
- Deliver gaming service with a high degree of professionalism.
- Respond to guest queries and requests promptly and appropriately.
- Explain game rules when asked.
- Resolve player concerns and complaints efficiently and to a satisfactory conclusion.
- Develop positive rapport and lasting guest relationships.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, guest-facing gaming environment and should bring strong technical and interpersonal skills.
- A high school diploma is required; dealer or gaming specialist certification/training is an advantage.
- Prior experience working as a table games dealer or gaming specialist is preferred.
- Background in hospitality or customer service is beneficial.
- Conversational English is mandatory; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of table game rules and procedures is expected, though training can be provided.
- Excellent manual coordination and attention to detail are essential.
- Strong numeracy skills are required.
- Good communication and people skills are important.
- A professional, reliable, and guest-centric attitude is needed.
- Ability to stay calm, concentrated, and composed during busy periods is necessary.
- Should work well in a team and adapt easily to changing business needs.
- Must be available for rotating schedules in a 24-hour operation, including weekends, holidays, and shift-based work.
- Must be able to work in a smoking environment.
