Role Overview
The User Operations Specialist will support the day-to-day operation of US stock trading products, with a strong focus on user growth, engagement and conversion. The role combines operational execution, data analysis, campaign planning and cross-functional coordination to improve product performance and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily product and user operations for US stock trading offerings, with attention to acquisition, activation, retention and conversion.
- Study user activity, trading patterns and market developments to uncover growth opportunities and recommend practical product enhancements.
- Partner with the product team to help shape new features and turn customer feedback into clear, actionable improvements.
- Design and run user campaigns, incentive plans and trading events that drive participation and increase transaction activity.
- Work with marketing, product and technology teams to deliver campaigns smoothly and assess results for ongoing optimisation.
- Keep current on US market movements, trading rules and competitor actions to support innovation and commercial growth.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Marketing, Business or a similar discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in internet, fintech, trading or a related sector.
- Strong knowledge of the US stock market, including market structure, trading sessions, order types and clearing workflows.
- Well-developed analytical ability, with practical experience using Excel or SQL.
- Good communication and coordination skills, especially when working across multiple teams.
- Fluent English is required; Mandarin will be considered an added advantage.
Preferred Profile
- Previous exposure to product operations or user growth for US stock trading platforms.
- Personal or professional trading background in US equities.
- Experience in fintech, brokerage or online trading environments.
- Track record working on cross-border or regional initiatives.
