US Investment Analyst Intern

About The Role

FACT Capital is seeking highly motivated students to gain practical experience in public equities investing and research within a global long-short hedge fund environment. The role involves remote collaboration with a team primarily located in New York City and Singapore. We prefer candidates who can commit for at least two academic semesters, dedicating a minimum of 20 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate exam schedules.

Ideal applicants are top-tier college or postgraduate students passionate about finance and market research, demonstrating quick and independent learning capabilities. Effective project management, communication, and research skills are essential. A foundational understanding of accounting and public company financial statements is advantageous, including the ability to interpret annual reports and connect the three core financial statements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive financial modeling and investment analysis.
• Conduct due diligence through primary and secondary research methods.
• Identify and engage sector experts pertinent to FACT’s investment themes.
• Maintain and develop the firm’s network of contacts.
• Execute primary research activities such as quantitative recurring surveys, short questionnaires, and in-depth discussions.

Compensation

A discretionary scholarship will be provided as compensation for this internship position.
