Job description
Role overview
We are seeking skilled Tyre Fitters to become part of Heavy Haulage Maintenance Teams supporting mine site operations across multiple locations. The role involves working on a premium fleet of Kenworth C509 trucks with triple side-tipper trailers and related auxiliary equipment, within a small team backed by modern facilities.
Working arrangement
This is a permanent full-time position on a 2/1 roster with alternating day and night shifts. FIFO travel is available from Perth and Brisbane.
What you will do
You will support haulage activities by inspecting tyre condition, identifying damage and wear, removing and fitting wheels, and carrying out urgent tyre repairs on road train equipment and auxiliary assets.
Skills and experience needed
- Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Fitting
- Australian driver’s licence without restrictions; HR licence is preferred
- Previous exposure to heavy vehicles or heavy mobile plant equipment
- A strong focus on safe working practices and quality outcomes
- Comfort with physically demanding work
- Unlimited right to work in Australia
