Role Overview
The MEATR Supply Chain team is hiring a Transportation Program Manager to join its centralized planning function in Dubai. The position centers on managing programs that support the planning and execution of transportation operations with significant business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead short-term planning, forecasting, flow control, and capacity management for transportation supply chain operations from start to finish.
- Run both business-as-usual and peak-season transportation activities.
- Design, introduce, and oversee strategic initiatives that strengthen planning and forecasting.
- Collect requirements and shape network concepts and supply chain models.
- Balance schedule, resourcing, scope, and cost to reach the best operating outcome.
- Use technical and business understanding to solve risks, issues, and operational blockers.
- Coordinate with cross-functional partners to clear obstacles and launch new programs.
- Handle technical integration across retail, merchant, fulfillment, transportation, and finance systems.
- Build end-to-end processes for operations, accounting, finance, and performance tracking.
- Deploy and scale programs while protecting customer experience, performance, and quality standards.
- Travel to South Africa when required for business purposes.
Candidate Profile
The role calls for someone who can manage the full impact of network projects on customers, shippers, and operators. It involves close collaboration with business, financial, and technical teams and suits a person comfortable working through ambiguity.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in program or project management.
- At least 3 years of experience working across technical and non-technical teams.
- At least 3 years of experience driving process improvements with data and metrics.
- A bachelor’s degree.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, along with SQL knowledge.
- Experience defining program requirements and using data to guide improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience delivering initiatives end to end and presenting outcomes to senior leaders.
- At least 3 years of experience leading process improvement efforts.
- Strong stakeholder management experience across multiple organizational levels.
- Experience creating processes, managing projects, and building schedules.
- Python skills for analysis and automation.
- Exposure to machine learning, AI use cases, and advanced business analytics.
