Job description

About the Company

Otera is an agentic-native platform built for global enterprises to create, deploy, and oversee autonomous AI agents. Its customers include major organizations such as Allianz, Siemens, Bayer, and Zurich. The platform is designed to replace fragmented manual work with autonomous, scalable operations by helping agents reason through complex documents, apply detailed business rules consistently, and capture specialized knowledge that often exists only with experienced employees.

The company has secured €15 million in a Series A round led by Red River West, Alpha Intelligence Capital, and Hoxton Ventures, with continued backing from Lunar Ventures and Stride VC. This funding supports Otera’s goal of becoming a leading provider of AI-powered automation solutions worldwide.

About the Role

Otera is hiring a Transformation Program Director to guide its most strategic enterprise accounts and AI-led change programs, especially within regulated sectors like insurance, banking, and financial services. This is a customer-facing leadership position that combines enterprise selling, consulting, transformation work, AI agents, and value delivery.

In this role, you will serve as a senior advisor to executives, helping them identify high-value use cases, design transformation roadmaps, and scale adoption of Otera’s agentic automation platform across their businesses. You will be accountable for flagship accounts from early strategic alignment through implementation, adoption, renewal, and growth. The position calls for someone who can shape a vision, convert customer challenges into AI agent solutions, build executive trust, and drive measurable commercial and operational outcomes.

This is not a delivery-only role. It sits at the center of customer impact, revenue growth, product development, and enterprise AI transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the overall transformation strategy for strategic customer accounts, from the initial ambition stage through long-term execution.
  • Act as the senior, hands-on leader for key accounts, working with executive stakeholders to define priorities, success measures, and multi-year roadmaps.
  • Drive customer enablement, adoption, and expansion so the platform becomes essential to how clients operate.
  • Be accountable for account health and growth, contributing to revenue through demonstrated business value and expansion opportunities.
  • Work closely with Sales and Customer Success to identify and close upsell and expansion potential.
  • Manage complex transformation programs with multiple workstreams across AI, automation, data, and operations.
  • Set up strong governance, regular delivery rhythms, and executive reporting to maintain clarity, momentum, and accountability.
  • Spot risks early, clear obstacles, and make practical trade-offs to keep initiatives aligned with strategic goals.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to deliver outcomes rather than only outputs.
  • Ensure deployments of the agentic automation platform create meaningful, defensible business impact instead of superficial automation.
  • Push for outcomes such as straight-through processing, automated decision-making, and scalable operating leverage.
  • Define, monitor, and regularly validate value metrics with customers so technology implementation is tied to business performance.
  • Act as a bridge between customers and Product by feeding back real-world usage patterns and unmet needs.
  • Spot recurring needs across accounts and convert them into repeatable, productized capabilities.
  • Bring an innovative mindset to help shape the next generation of AI-powered enterprise platforms.
  • Influence both what gets built and the reasoning behind it.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in enterprise software, consulting, transformation leadership, customer success, solutions, or complex technology programs, with a strong history of advising senior executives, earning trust, and leading strategic customer relationships.
  • Experience in commercial or sales-related work such as account expansion, value-based selling, renewal support, enterprise sales partnership, or owning growth in strategic accounts.
  • Practical experience with AI agents, agentic automation, AI/ML, intelligent automation, LLM-based products, or advanced workflow automation.
  • Background working with enterprise customers, ideally in insurance or financial services transformation.
  • A commercial mindset with a clear understanding of how value creation, adoption, executive alignment, and revenue growth support one another.
  • Experience working closely with Product and Engineering teams to shape roadmaps and build differentiated solutions.
  • An entrepreneurial approach, with the confidence to lead from the front and the discipline to deliver results.
  • German or French language ability is a strong advantage, especially for working with enterprise customers across Europe.

Perks & Benefits

  • High-impact role with direct influence on critical customer programs and the direction of the product.
  • Opportunity to work with cutting-edge agentic AI and automation technology.
  • Early-stage growth opportunity as one of the first 90 employees, with strong room for development and leadership.
  • Flexible remote setup that allows you to work from anywhere.
  • Opportunity to join a highly capable, motivated, and supportive team.
  • Competitive compensation, meaningful equity, and comprehensive benefits.
