Role Overview
The position is based in Auckland CBD on a full-time, permanent basis at the NZST campus. As a Tourism Tutor, your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality training to students enrolled in our Tourism courses. You will employ established curricula and educational materials to create an engaging and supportive learning environment, enabling students to successfully achieve their qualifications. This role is pivotal in guiding students toward their career goals in the tourism industry.
While previous teaching experience is not mandatory, we offer comprehensive training and resources to help you thrive in this educational role.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 4 years’ professional experience in the travel or tourism industry, with at least 2 years in supervisory roles.
- Additional experience in related sectors such as hospitality or retail is advantageous but not required.
- Possession of a diploma or degree in Tourism or a related field is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A passion for sharing knowledge and motivating learners to succeed.
- Teaching experience is beneficial but not essential.
