About the role
This full-time permanent Tourism Tutor position is based at the Christchurch campus. The role involves delivering engaging training to learners across tourism programmes, using established course material and resources to create a positive learning experience and help students complete their qualification.
No prior teaching background is strictly required, as training support and teaching tools will be provided to help you succeed in the role.
What you will do
- Facilitate learning across tourism courses using existing curriculum and resources.
- Support learners through their studies so they can complete their qualification successfully.
- Contribute to an enjoyable and effective student experience.
- Help prepare students for careers in the tourism industry.
About you
The ideal candidate will bring a strong tourism background, good communication skills, and a genuine interest in helping others learn and succeed. Experience in teaching is helpful but not essential.
