Role overview

This position is for a Technician focused on fan blade manufacturing at Rolls-Royce in Seletar, Singapore. The role involves supporting multiple shop-floor processes involved in producing highly precise hollow titanium fan blades.

Key duties

  • Run CNC equipment, furnaces, automated robotic systems, and production lines.
  • Carry out work in a cleanroom setting using machinery and processes such as bonders, NDT methods including X-ray, FPI and UT, and etching equipment.
  • Follow technique sheets and quality-control procedures closely while performing the work.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts and help maintain 5S, cleanliness, and housekeeping standards.

Eligibility and qualifications

Applicants must already have the legal right to work in Singapore. Candidates without this eligibility will not be considered. The role is open to recent graduates and does not require prior work experience.

  • Minimum qualification: NITEC or Diploma in an engineering-related discipline.
  • Ability to interpret and read 3D feature drawings.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts.
  • Availability for overtime when needed, including weekends and public holidays.
