Department Overview

The City Infrastructure Department manages asset oversight, capital works, maintenance projects, and lease management for community and sporting clubs, along with ensuring security and compliance within civil operations.

Role Summary

Become part of the Parks & Landscape team to help maintain and enhance public parks, open spaces, and landscapes valued by local residents. Responsibilities include horticultural maintenance tasks such as turf care, irrigation upkeep, tree planting and pruning, and general groundskeeping duties. This role suits a motivated individual who is detail-oriented, takes pride in environmental stewardship, enjoys working outdoors, and aims to contribute directly to the aesthetic and livability of the community.

Compensation

The position will be appointed at Grade 1, with an annual salary of $73,850 plus superannuation, or Grade 2 at $77,832 plus super if holding a Certificate III in Horticulture.

Additional Requirements

A pre-employment medical examination including drug and alcohol testing is mandatory as part of the application process.
