About the Role

The Talent Sourcer is responsible for proactively identifying and cultivating a strong pipeline of candidates that align with specific business unit needs. This involves employing various strategies such as utilizing online databases, social media platforms, advanced Boolean keyword searches, direct outreach, and networking to discover top talent for Gartner. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive on the challenge of finding and engaging with passive and hard-to-find candidates.

What You'll Do

• Proactively source potential and passive candidates through direct outreach, social media engagement, internet research, extensive name generation, and relationship building.
• Continuously expand professional networks by actively participating in user groups, following industry blogs, and attending networking events.
• Generate candidate interest by crafting compelling marketing and social media messages that effectively communicate Gartner's value proposition.
• Conduct initial candidate assessments through profiling, trait evaluations, and behavioral interviews to determine qualifications.
• Develop and maintain a robust talent pipeline for both immediate openings and future hiring requirements.

What You'll Need

• A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 1 to 4 years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition is required.
• Demonstrated strong skills in research and candidate generation.
• Experience in business development or sales is considered a plus.
• Familiarity with current direct sourcing methodologies and the ability to stay updated on emerging techniques and skills.
