About the Role
Thompson Child & Family Focus is a rapidly growing nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable children and families across our community through therapeutic, educational, and preventative care. Our organization has expanded by 20% annually over the last five years. We are looking for a motivated and resourceful Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our People Operations team and help us continue building a talented workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute all stages of the recruitment process for positions located in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida.
- Partner with department leaders to develop clear, detailed job descriptions and define hiring requirements.
- Implement and continuously improve effective recruitment strategies tailored to role specifications and market standards.
- Handle job postings and advertisements while screening and prequalifying applicants.
- Coordinate interview scheduling and assist in preparing interview questions and selection materials.
- Support community engagement by providing paid time off specifically for volunteer activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least two years of experience in recruitment, ideally including mental health sector exposure.
- Creativity in recruiting approaches and a passion for bringing innovative talent acquisition methods to the organization.
- A strong commitment to contributing to an expanding organization and adapting to change.
- Respect and appreciation for diversity in both people and programs served.

Additional Information
Annual remuneration ranges from $50,000 to $58,000.
