Role overview
In this position, you will lead the wireless customer experience in-store. The role is centered on sales, customer support, and product knowledge, with a strong emphasis on helping shoppers and business clients find wireless solutions that support how they work and learn. You will also keep expanding your own expertise, contribute to the wider store team, and share knowledge across business units.
Key responsibilities
- Engage with customers, build relationships, and spot opportunities to sell wireless and wireline products and services.
- Understand customer needs, recommend suitable solutions, and go beyond expectations through knowledgeable service.
- Reconnect with shoppers after interactions, gather feedback, and present additional products and services that add value.
- Work with the store team to increase awareness of current offers and encourage wireless interest and referrals.
- Work toward and meet personal sales targets.
- Keep merchandising aligned with company standards, including accurate and current pricing.
- Follow asset protection processes and privacy requirements.
- Stay informed through internal communication tools such as the mobile app, intranet, and bulletin boards.
- Address customer issues effectively and involve management when needed.
What you need
- Between 3 months and 1 year of experience in wireless sales or broader sales work.
- A strong customer-first mindset and service orientation.
- Clear selling skills and comfort closing opportunities.
- The ability to coach or support others.
- Strong communication skills across different channels and audiences.
- Good planning, organization, and prioritization abilities to manage daily work and customer service demands.
- Comfort with technology and digital tools.
- Curiosity, approachability, enthusiasm, and a problem-solving attitude.
