About the Role
The State Head for Commercial Vehicles in the sales division is tasked with expanding loan sourcing through direct selling agents, direct sales teams, and current channel partners. The position also carries responsibility for maintaining a strong-quality loan book, guiding a team, and building dependable relationships across all business channels. The role requires clear coordination, disciplined execution, and close compliance with bank policies so that growth objectives are achieved without increasing risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and oversee loan sourcing channels across the state, including DSAs and direct sales teams.
- Bring in new business while protecting portfolio quality by keeping delinquencies and rejections low.
- Stay updated on the market, retail asset products, operational practices, and industry trends.
- Spot shifts in the market and create new avenues for business acquisition.
- Deliver a strong customer experience and support high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Suggest improvements to processes and policies that can improve efficiency and service delivery.
- Follow internal controls and regulatory requirements at all times.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation of business plans.
- Encourage a risk-conscious culture while sustaining sales momentum.
Education and Experience
- A full-time graduate degree is required.
- MBA or PGDM is preferred.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in commercial vehicle lending or a similar financial services role.
