About the Role

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) or Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) to join the dedicated teams at Hopewood Hospital in Sherwood, Nottingham. This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term position to cover maternity leave. Hopewood Hospital, with its 32 beds across three wards (Hercules Ward - PICU, Pegasus Ward - Eating Disorder Unit, and Phoenix Ward - Adolescent Unit), provides specialized care for inpatients, including an on-site education facility, a CAMHS community base, and perinatal teams. Hercules Ward, an 8-bedded psychiatric intensive care unit, focuses on young people with severe and enduring mental health issues, working collaboratively with families and a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to achieve positive outcomes. Staff are encouraged to actively participate in patient care, including group and one-to-one sessions. A senior nurse is available on-site 24 hours a day for support.
