Role overview
An established adult disability service in North County Dublin is hiring a permanent full-time Intellectual Disability Nurse to work from its Baldoyle location. The service is known for its close-knit, family-style environment, a strong community feel, and a multidisciplinary team with very low turnover. The role is designed for someone who wants meaningful clinical work along with flexibility and a better balance between work and personal life.
Working pattern
- Monday to Friday schedule
- Flexible hours such as 8:00 am to 4:00 pm or 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
- Job-sharing may be considered

Candidate profile
The preferred candidate will be a Registered Nurse Intellectual Disability (RNID) with NMBI registration, or a Registered General Nurse (RGN) with relevant experience in intellectual disability care. The role calls for hands-on experience supporting adults with intellectual disabilities, a person-centred approach, and familiarity with HIQA standards and safeguarding expectations. Positive Behaviour Support experience would be an advantage, and a full clean driving licence is required.
