Overview
A growing engineering services business in Dublin is hiring a Service Coordinator to support daily operations and act as the main point of contact between customers, engineers and internal teams. The role suits someone who works well in a busy environment, can balance several priorities at once, and is comfortable keeping service activity moving efficiently.
What You'll Do
- Handle service enquiries and requests received by phone and email.
- Plan engineer diaries and organise service appointments.
- Keep customers informed about job progress and expected response times.
- Arrange planned maintenance work and related visits.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and external service partners.
- Maintain precise service records and documentation.
- Support billing processes and general administrative work.
- Assist operations staff with reports and compliance paperwork.
What We're Looking For
- Background in administration, scheduling, or customer-facing support.
- Clear communication skills and strong organisational ability.
- Confidence managing several tasks at the same time.
- Careful attention to detail.
- Competence using IT systems, especially Microsoft Office.
