About Nova Sky Stories

Nova Sky Stories creates large-scale sky entertainment that helps artists and producers deliver memorable live experiences to audiences worldwide. As a pioneer in drone-based entertainment, the company has spent more than ten years combining advanced drone systems with creative storytelling to produce live shows that feel both striking and immersive.

Backed by an experienced team of engineers and creatives, Nova designs and runs small, lightweight, highly precise, and safe drones that can perform reliably in challenging conditions such as city environments, very hot or cold temperatures, and strong winds. The result is a sky-based storytelling format designed to inspire audiences and transform the night sky into a visual canvas.

With its headquarters in the United States and teams in Europe and the UAE, Nova Sky Stories collaborates with leading brands, venues, and event partners around the world.

Role Overview

Nova Sky Stories is hiring a Senior Event Marketing & Experience Director to lead the strategy and execution that drives attendance for touring experiences across global markets. This person will own integrated marketing efforts focused on selling tickets, increasing turnout, and building lasting demand for the company’s growing portfolio of live entertainment offerings.

This is a commercially focused marketing leadership role that bridges brand, performance marketing, audience development, and live events. The right candidate will have a strong track record of promoting large touring productions, festivals, attractions, concerts, immersive experiences, or other live entertainment properties where ticket sales are the main measure of success. The role requires someone who can build anticipation before launch, improve performance while sales are live, and grow revenue through disciplined, data-backed marketing.

This is also a hands-on builder position. The director will create reusable marketing playbooks, oversee media investment, collaborate with outside agencies and venue partners, and work across functions to help each market meet its attendance and revenue targets.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the full marketing strategy for Nova’s touring shows and remain accountable for ticket sales, attendance levels, and campaign results.
  • Plan and run integrated campaigns across paid media, digital channels, partnerships, PR, social platforms, email, influencer programs, and local market promotions.
  • Direct media planning, buying approach, budget distribution, and optimization efforts to improve marketing return on investment.
  • Work closely with Brand Marketing, Creative, Sales, Production, and venue or ticketing partners to deliver successful launches in every market.
  • Review campaign performance, audience behavior, pricing movement, and sales trends to strengthen marketing impact and customer acquisition.
  • Develop scalable marketing frameworks that can be applied across global markets while still adapting to local needs.
  • Manage relationships with agencies, media partners, promoters, and ticketing platforms to keep execution smooth and coordinated.
  • Stay actively involved in day-to-day campaign execution while testing new channels, tools, and audience growth tactics.

  • 10–15+ years of experience in event marketing, experiential marketing, live entertainment marketing, or touring event marketing.
  • Demonstrated success designing and executing campaigns that grow ticket sales, attendance, and revenue for live entertainment or consumer-facing events.
  • Experience managing sizable paid media budgets across digital, social, search, display, out-of-home, radio, television, and related channels.
  • Strong understanding of customer acquisition, audience segmentation, CRM, marketing analytics, attribution, and campaign optimization.
  • Experience working with ticketing platforms, venue partners, promoters, and external agencies.
  • Ability to interpret marketing performance data and connect it to business outcomes and revenue growth.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Experience marketing global or multi-city touring productions, entertainment brands, or destination-based experiences.
  • Exposure to companies or organizations similar to Cirque du Soleil, Feld Entertainment, Live Nation, AEG, Broadway touring productions, themed attractions, festivals, sports, museums, or comparable consumer entertainment businesses.
  • Experience launching new markets and building localized marketing plans across multiple regions.
  • Familiarity with audience growth tools, CRM automation, marketing attribution systems, and ticketing analytics.
  • Entrepreneurial approach with a willingness to stay hands-on, solve problems quickly, and improve performance continuously.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to combine storytelling and data-driven decision-making to produce measurable results.
