About the Role

Leverage your accounting and finance expertise to become a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Major Duties

  • Spearhead and execute investigations into potential breaches of federal laws, cybersecurity incidents, and public safety concerns.
  • Employ critical thinking, adaptability, and resourcefulness to effectively manage investigative challenges.
  • Cultivate and sustain robust working relationships with law enforcement agencies at federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international levels.
  • Maintain a high standard of physical fitness to meet the demands of law enforcement duties.

Key Requirements

  • Must be a citizen of the United States.
  • Must be capable of obtaining a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance.
  • Must demonstrate a willingness to travel as needed for assignments.
  • Must satisfy all FBI Employment Eligibility criteria.

Education

A bachelor’s degree or higher from a U.S. accredited college or university is required. A degree in accounting or a closely related field, such as business administration, finance, or forensic accounting, is preferred. All academic qualifications must be validated by the submission of official college transcripts.

Additional Information

This position is exempt from the federal civilian hiring freeze. Salary is determined by base pay, locality, and availability pay.
