Job description

Role overview

Omada Health is hiring a Revenue Cycle Analyst to support, record, and improve the company’s revenue cycle management (RCM) operations. In this role, you will help shape tools, workflows, and reporting that drive collections, strengthen billing performance, and keep claim recovery timely. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and outside partners to maintain effective billing practices, resolve issues, and support the organization’s financial growth.

Process and systems work

  • Support a smooth billing process from start to finish.
  • Help implement RCM changes for new payer setups.
  • Coordinate with the clearinghouse on new connections and claims-related issues.
  • Take part in cross-functional efforts that improve the efficiency and performance of RCM systems and workflows.
  • Review data, trends, and user feedback to suggest better ways of working.
  • Assist with testing, validation, and launch of updated RCM processes while keeping accuracy and compliance in mind.

Documentation, training, and communication

  • Work with payers to align Omada’s billing model and help educate internal teams.
  • Keep process guides and standard operating procedures current and easy to follow.
  • Ensure all RCM policies, procedures, and initiatives are handled in a HIPAA-compliant manner.
  • Reply to operational questions through email, Slack, and ticketing systems.
  • Support cross-functional teams so they can complete requests effectively.

RCM operations

  • Review, record, and follow up on denials and underpayments.
  • Investigate and process refunds.
  • Help the team meet accounts receivable and bad debt reserve targets.
  • Perform weekly bank and claims reconciliations.
  • Complete monthly revenue integrity reviews.
  • Finish recurring monthly work queues.

What this role needs

This position is best suited to someone who cares about Omada’s mission and has experience working in healthcare revenue cycle operations. You should understand the US healthcare landscape, including common terminology such as CPT and ICD-10 diagnosis codes, and be comfortable using Excel at an advanced level. Strong written and verbal communication skills are important, along with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical partners. The role also requires balancing planned tasks with urgent escalations.

Preferred background

Extra value is given to candidates who have worked with a healthcare clearinghouse, understand accounting basics, know the digital health or startup environment, or have used SQL or Tableau.

Compensation and benefits

This role includes a competitive salary, a generous annual cash bonus, and eligibility for equity grants. Omada offers a remote-first work-from-home setup, flexible time off, generous parental leave, health, dental, and vision coverage with above-market employer contributions, a 401(k) retirement savings plan, a Lifestyle Spending Account, and mental health support solutions, along with additional benefits.

Values and culture

Omada emphasizes trust, context, bold action, results, teamwork, and a strong sense of purpose. The company looks for people who communicate with kindness, learn before acting, improve processes proactively, value impact over volume, and contribute to a collaborative culture focused on improving healthcare.
