Sourcing Senior Manager

Role overview

Verizon is looking for a Senior Sourcing Manager to strengthen its Global Strategic Sourcing group within Supply Chain Services. In this role, you will focus on high-value supplier partnerships, mainly with Google and Motorola, while securing promotional funding for devices and building commercial arrangements that improve revenue, margin, and shareholder value.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing activity for complex initiatives, including negotiations, promotional frameworks, and funding terms.
• Manage relationships with suppliers in a way that supports ethical, productive, and long-term partnerships.
• Act as a trusted internal advisor by working closely with business stakeholders and earning their confidence.
• Guide cross-functional teams to define business needs, align on commercial terms, and stay on track with milestones and contract deadlines.
• Support device marketing promotions from early planning through execution.
• Track promotion-related financial benefits across the product life cycle and prepare reporting for senior leaders.
• Recommend changes that help maximize value from promotions with each OEM.
• Prepare contract documents such as statements of work, letters of authorization, and requests for proposals, and improve contract structures where possible.

What you need

• Experience working in telecommunications, ideally with an operator or OEM, and exposure to mobile promotions or propositions.
• A bachelor's degree in business administration, management, finance, supply chain, product marketing, or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience with bids, RFPs, and direct negotiations across commercial, pricing, and technical terms.
• Good understanding of strategic sourcing processes, policies, and operating procedures.
• Prior experience preparing core sourcing and contracting documents such as SOWs and LOAs.
• Comfort working in a fast-moving, international setting.

Nice to have

• A master's degree or other advanced qualification.
• Experience working across multiple markets.
• Knowledge of OEM sourcing and promotion best practices.

Work setup

This is a hybrid position based in Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland. The role includes a mix of home working and office days scheduled by the manager.

Additional details

Weekly working hours are 37.5.
