About the role

Verizon is looking for a full-time Retail Sales Associate to join its store team in Evansville, Indiana. This position is designed for someone who enjoys helping customers, is energized by technology, and wants room to build a career in a sales-driven retail environment. What you'll do

  • Drive retail revenue by using your interest in technology and strong customer service approach to promote Verizon products and services.
  • Identify customer needs by building rapport and asking thoughtful questions.
  • Recommend products and solutions that match the customer’s requirements from start to finish.
  • Use clear, persuasive communication to close sales and provide simple technology solutions.
  • Continue learning through ongoing training and develop skills in store operations, merchandising, and inventory support.
  • Reach out to current Verizon customers through calls and text messages when there is interest in products or services.
  • Represent Verizon at community and off-site sponsored events to help broaden the customer base.

Compensation

Base pay ranges from $16.00 to $21.00 per hour, with the possibility of earning up to $18,000 per year in individual commissions when sales goals are met. High performers may earn an additional $14,500 or more in commissions, bringing total annual earnings to roughly $65,000+ to $75,500+. Pay can vary based on location, hours worked, and performance. This is a commission-based role with the potential to earn more.

Work schedule and location

This is a worksite-based role and requires onsite presence at a defined Verizon location in Evansville, IN. The standard schedule is 40 hours per week. Candidates should be prepared to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with schedules shared four weeks in advance. Additional shifts may be available during summer periods, November through December, and peak vacation seasons.
