Job description
Overview
We are seeking a resourceful social media professional with strong creative instincts and a solid grasp of Instagram culture and current platform trends. This role covers the day-to-day social media presence for five brands, with a particular emphasis on visual consistency, refined aesthetics, and reel production. The right person will be able to transform available content into polished Instagram Stories and reels that feel modern, clean, and aligned with each brand’s identity.
Responsibilities
- Design and publish visually engaging Instagram Stories and reels on a daily basis while maintaining a sleek, minimal brand style.
- Edit dynamic, high-quality reels with thoughtful typography choices that strengthen the story and match the brand’s tone.
- Apply a strong visual eye by choosing complementary fonts, aligning text neatly, and using lowercase styling to achieve a clean minimalist look.
- Work in Canva and CapCut for content creation; experience with Premiere Pro and Lightroom is an added advantage.
- Retouch and organize video and image assets creatively so the final output remains polished and professional.
- Craft captions that are witty, emotionally engaging, and consistent with the brand voice, while supporting the visual narrative.
- Handle community interaction by engaging with relevant brands, replying to messages, and responding to comments in a voice that fits the brand.
- Use productivity platforms such as ClickUp, and preferably Notion or Airtable, to coordinate several projects at once.
- Dedicate at least 15 minutes each day to active audience engagement to help build a relatable and socially aware brand presence.
- Use interactive formats such as Q&A sessions, quizzes, and similar tactics to encourage participation and strengthen community connection.
- Keep up with Instagram algorithms and performance insights to improve reach, engagement, and growth.
Requirements
- Strong copywriting ability.
- A creative mindset with the confidence to think beyond conventional ideas.
- A design sensibility that leans toward minimalism.
- Demonstrated experience building cohesive Instagram feeds and reels with a modern, minimalist look.
- At least 1 year of experience in social media management.
- Skilled in font selection and text placement for stories and reels to create a refined presentation.
- Working knowledge of Canva and CapCut is mandatory; familiarity with Premiere Pro and Lightroom is beneficial.
- Strong video and photo editing capabilities, along with an eye for visual storytelling.
- Comfort using project coordination tools such as ClickUp, Notion, or Airtable.
