About the Role

This role is for a creative yet analytics-minded social media professional who can strengthen brand visibility, boost engagement, and develop content that audiences actually want to interact with. The right person will be comfortable using platform algorithms, audience insights, content trends, and business priorities to shape campaigns that create measurable impact.

What the Team Is Looking For

The ideal candidate is more than a channel operator; they understand people, culture, and what makes content resonate. This person should be able to spot meaningful moments, build community, tell persuasive stories, and create social content that supports both engagement and business results.

Bonus points if you have grown brand handles successfully, produced viral campaigns, built employer branding programs, or used social media as a measurable engine for business growth.

Strategy and Planning

  • Design and implement social media plans that support business and marketing goals.
  • Create monthly and quarterly content calendars for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and newer platforms.
  • Spot content opportunities using trends, audience patterns, cultural moments, and business needs.
  • Develop campaign ideas that support awareness, engagement, lead generation, and employer branding.

Content and Storytelling

  • Conceptualize, script, and guide the production of reels, videos, carousels, and static creatives that perform well.
  • Build content approaches tailored to each platform instead of using the same format everywhere.
  • Write narratives that make brands feel more human and emotionally relatable.
  • Partner with designers, videographers, writers, and internal teams to deliver engaging content.

Community Management

  • Oversee conversations and community interactions across social platforms.
  • Develop engagement tactics that encourage participation and strengthen brand affinity.
  • Monitor brand sentiment and share practical insights with stakeholders.
  • Manage escalation of customer issues and support reputation management when needed.

Campaign Management

  • Own end-to-end execution of social campaigns such as product launches, employer branding efforts, awareness drives, and seasonal activations.
  • Coordinate organic and paid social activity to improve overall performance.
  • Work with performance marketing teams to expand the reach of content that is already performing well.

Analytics and Performance

  • Measure KPIs including reach, engagement, follower growth, video views, CTR, leads, and conversions.
  • Study campaign outcomes and audience behavior to improve future content decisions.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports with clear recommendations.
  • Use insights to uncover growth opportunities and increase content effectiveness.

Trendspotting and Innovation

  • Keep up with platform updates, new trends, creator economy shifts, and cultural conversations.
  • Identify viral opportunities and adapt trending ideas while staying true to the brand.
  • Test new formats, features, and content styles to support organic growth.

Required Experience and Skills

  • 3 to 7+ years of experience in social media marketing.
  • Strong working knowledge of Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, X, and newer social platforms.
  • Track record of creating viral or highly engaging content.
  • Excellent copywriting and storytelling ability.
  • Solid understanding of social media analytics and reporting.
  • Experience managing content production processes and workflows.
  • Ability to align creative ideas with business objectives.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar tools.

Preferred Experience

  • Background in healthcare, consumer brands, SaaS, fintech, edtech, or employer branding.
  • Experience working with influencers, creators, and brand ambassadors.
  • Understanding of paid social advertising and content amplification methods.
  • Experience handling multi-platform campaigns with measurable business impact.
