Role Overview
This position is for a Social Media Manager on a full-time basis, with a hybrid setup and occasional remote flexibility. The role is anchored in Jalandhar, so a strong on-ground presence there is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support the brand’s social media presence across relevant platforms, especially Instagram.
- Create and adapt content within established brand templates and visual guidelines.
- Prepare static creatives and layouts using Adobe Illustrator and edit images/assets in Photoshop.
- Assist with basic reel assembly using Premiere Pro or After Effects when needed.
- Work closely with the Creative Director and follow the existing design system rather than making independent visual decisions.
- Contribute copy in Hindi, English and Punjabi for posts, stories, covers and related social content.
- Handle story formatting, reel covers and grid presentation in a platform-appropriate way.
- Use social media analytics and performance insights to support media planning and media strategy.
- Support communication and public relations efforts that strengthen audience engagement and brand relationships.
- Stay organized, manage multiple tasks, and coordinate smoothly with team members and stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
- 1 to 2 years of experience in social media management, ideally in food and beverage or lifestyle brands.
- Strong command of media planning and social media strategy.
- Good communication and public relations skills for audience interaction and brand handling.
- Comfortable using new media tools and platforms for marketing.
- Hands-on experience with analytics tools for tracking and improving performance.
- Self-driven, creative, and able to work both independently and within a team.
- Strong problem-solving, organization and multitasking abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or a related discipline.
- Based in Jalandhar and available for on-ground work.
Additional Notes
The role requires the candidate to be firmly based in Jalandhar. Canva is not part of the workflow. Basic familiarity with Premiere Pro or After Effects is helpful, while full shoot-level editing is handled by the videographer.
About the Work Style
The position is process-oriented and requires accuracy in following the brand’s existing creative structure. Comfort with adapting templates precisely and working within a defined visual system is important.
