Social Media Intern (m/f/d)

About the Role

Join Westwing’s vibrant and innovative social media team as a Social Media Intern. You will help engage and inspire more than 10 million followers across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, creating daily captivating content. This six-month internship, starting preferably in September 2026, is based in Munich and offers a chance to collaborate globally while contributing actively to our social channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Interact authentically with our community daily by liking, commenting, replying to queries, and managing direct messages on Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
• Gather and analyze follower feedback and insights to enhance content engagement.
• Assist in brainstorming and integrating community input into creative content ideas.
• Support social media project management tasks such as content planning, research, creation, publication, and tracking links.
• Conduct competitor research and identify emerging trends to keep our channels fresh and relevant.
• Utilize AI-powered tools to boost daily tasks including content ideation, caption drafting, trend spotting, and community management efficiency.

Candidate Profile

• A true passion for social media with an up-to-date knowledge of interior and lifestyle trends.
• Experience creating and sharing personal social media or blog content is advantageous; please mention any relevant links in your application.
• Excellent English communication skills; native proficiency in German is beneficial.
• Affinity for interior design, with a strong sense of our brand and products.
• Highly proactive, motivated to learn, take initiative, and support team goals.
• Familiarity with Photoshop and SEO concepts is a plus.
• Interest in using AI technology for creative and operational support in a digital workspace.
