About Byte'm Brownie Bites

Byte'm is a rapidly expanding premium, shelf-stable brownie brand with a presence in over 1000 retail locations nationwide. We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Coordination Intern to enhance our brand visibility, generate engaging content, and foster our community of creators and enthusiasts.

This is a practical role for an individual who thrives both on and off camera, possesses excellent taste, and brings a positive attitude to all endeavors.

What You'll Do

  • Produce and edit short-form video content, such as Reels and TikToks, for our social media platforms.
  • Receive support with content creation, product samples, and event participation.
  • Generate content concepts that reflect Byte'm's unique personality and brand voice.
  • Manage influencer collaborations, including product distribution and relationship nurturing.
  • Maintain organized records of social media schedules and influencer outreach efforts.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and contribute innovative ideas.

What We're Looking For

  • An enthusiastic and outgoing individual comfortable on camera and skilled in interpersonal interactions.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and editing short-form videos using tools like CapCut, Premiere, or similar applications.
  • A keen understanding of social media trends and content performance drivers.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a reliable approach to communication and follow-ups.
  • Preference for candidates based in NYC with availability for in-person work, and prior experience in influencer marketing or the food, CPG, or lifestyle sectors is a plus.

Tools You Will Learn and Use

  • Video Editing Software: CapCut, Premiere, Edits (by Meta), or comparable tools.
  • OpusClip: For repurposing podcast content into shorter clips.
  • Spreadsheet Software: Google Sheets/Excel for tracking campaign performance.
  • Communication Platforms: Slack for team collaboration.
  • Outreach Tools: CRM, Email, and Direct Messaging for communication.

Additional Details

  • This is a part-time position, approximately 20 hours per week. In-person work in NYC is preferred.
  • This is an unpaid internship. There is potential for full-time employment in the future. Strong referrals will be provided, along with valuable learning experiences in startup operations and relevant skill development.
