Role Summary

The Social Media Coordinator supports the rollout of digital marketing activity across the brand’s social channels. The role centers on producing compelling content, handling daily account activity, and reviewing performance data to strengthen brand visibility, grow audiences, and increase engagement.

Working alongside the Marketing team, this person helps plan and execute campaigns, protects brand consistency and tone, and looks for trends and opportunities that can expand reach and impact.

Core Responsibilities

  • Create, schedule, and publish social content that showcases the cruise experience, retail products, destinations, and lifestyle branding while staying true to the brand’s voice.
  • Oversee everyday activity on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and X, including post scheduling and upkeep of the content calendar.
  • Support social campaigns, promotions, and partnership activity that build awareness and help drive onboard revenue, including retail offers, special events, and limited-time deals.
  • Measure channel performance, draw insights from the data, and recommend improvements to strengthen engagement and support marketing and revenue objectives.
  • Partner with onboard retail, entertainment, and food & beverage teams so content reflects current offerings and revenue-focused initiatives.
  • Track platform changes, new formats, and social media trends to keep the brand current and competitive in travel and hospitality.
  • Take on other duties as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Business, or a similar field is preferred, though candidates currently pursuing one may also be considered.

The company is looking for someone with a strong interest in social media marketing, travel, and lifestyle branding who can perform well in a fast-moving, collaborative setting.

Relevant experience in social media, digital marketing, communications, or a similar area is preferred, including internships, part-time roles, or academic projects. Hands-on experience producing and managing content on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, or comparable channels is useful. Familiarity with planning and scheduling tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout, or Later, as well as analytics platforms, is an added advantage. Experience in hospitality, travel, lifestyle, or retail is welcome but not mandatory. Prior support of campaigns, promotions, or brand initiatives is also valued.

Skills and Abilities

  • Solid working knowledge of major social platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X, along with platform-specific best practices.
  • Ability to create content and perform basic photo and video edits using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software.
  • Comfort using analytics and reporting tools to interpret results and turn data into content improvements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adjust tone and messaging to match brand identity.
  • Creative judgment with a strong sense of visual storytelling and audience engagement.
  • Good organization and time management, with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines and projects in a busy environment.
  • Capability to work across teams with marketing, retail, and onboard operations partners.
  • Guest-focused mindset and understanding of the customer experience within travel and hospitality.
  • Awareness of new social trends, digital marketing approaches, and influencer marketing practices.

Physical and Work Conditions

This job requires the ability to stay seated at a desk or computer for extended periods. Work is primarily carried out in a climate-controlled setting with minimal safety or health risks. The position is classified as in-person, with the office located in Orlando.

The role also involves periodic travel, including time spent onboard company cruise ships, to support marketing work and gain operational understanding.
