Job description
Overview
Click Consult, part of the Ceuta Group, is hiring a Social Media Assistant to support its marketing consultancy work from Hooton, Cheshire, with a hybrid working setup. The role is suited to someone enthusiastic about social media, digital brand building and creating campaigns that connect with audiences in a meaningful way.
You will join a fast-moving, collaborative environment and contribute to social media activity for a wide range of clients. The position offers practical exposure to organic social, paid social, content planning, influencer outreach and performance analysis, making it a strong fit for someone at an early stage of their marketing career who wants to progress quickly.
What the role involves
As part of the social media team, you will help shape and deliver the company’s organic social offering while working with internal colleagues, clients and external partners. Your work will support the full campaign lifecycle, from planning and production through to reporting and refinement.
Key responsibilities
- Help develop and strengthen the company’s organic social media services.
- Set up and improve workflows for client social media accounts.
- Design and run social campaigns across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and Facebook.
- Assist business development and account teams in promoting and selling social media services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with influencers to extend campaign reach.
- Join client meetings, contribute to presentations and support new business pitches.
- Track social performance, interpret results and prepare reports using appropriate tools.
- Work with creative colleagues to produce engaging digital content.
- Keep informed about platform changes, new social trends and emerging content formats.
Experience and requirements
Applicants should already have hands-on experience in social media management, including work on both organic and paid campaigns. Strong organisation and time management are essential, as the role involves handling multiple projects and deadlines at once. You should be comfortable working independently as well as collaborating within a team, and you should be confident contributing ideas in meetings or pitches. Clear communication and the ability to build strong working relationships are also important.
It would be beneficial to have experience creating visual content with tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Canva, along with familiarity with social media management or listening platforms such as Hootsuite or Meltwater. Experience analysing campaign results, understanding digital marketing tactics and working with influencers would also be an advantage.
Qualifications
A degree in marketing, communications or a similar subject is preferred, although equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
What you can expect
- The chance to work across a varied portfolio of client accounts in several industries.
- Exposure to both the creative and strategic sides of digital marketing.
- Continuous learning and development within a supportive team.
- A collaborative workplace that welcomes fresh ideas and innovation.
