About the Role

This remote Social Media Assistant position supports a company’s digital marketing and online engagement efforts. The role calls for someone who is highly organized, creative, proactive, and interested in social media, content production, and community interaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Publish, plan, and oversee content across several social platforms.
  • Track incoming comments, messages, and questions, then reply in a timely manner.
  • Study audience behavior, market trends, competitor activity, and possible marketing openings.
  • Keep content calendars and campaign timelines up to date.
  • Work with internal teams to develop content and support promotional activities.
  • Manage online communities and assist with customer engagement.
  • Look into influencer, product, and collaboration opportunities.
  • Draft captions, post copy, descriptions, and other social content.
  • Assist with social media ads and broader marketing initiatives.
  • Handle routine administrative tasks and other assignments as required.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in any discipline, or a relevant certification in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related area.
  • At least 1 to 2 years of experience in social media, marketing, content creation, or a similar role.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English.
  • Good planning, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Comfort using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or comparable design software.
  • Ability to work independently from a remote setting.
  • Strong eye for detail along with a creative mindset.

Work Schedule
