Overview

Camphill Communities of Ireland (CCoI) provides support services for individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities, including autism. Operating across 15 locations, CCoI offers both residential and day programs, aiming to enable people to enjoy a normal lifestyle comparable to that of the broader community.

Position Details

We are seeking dedicated Social Care Workers to join our team in Dingle on a permanent basis. This full-time role requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, with a competitive salary ranging from €39,088 to €56,349 annually.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum qualification of Level 7 on the QQI Framework, such as a Bachelor’s degree in Social Care Studies or an equivalent in Health or Social Care.
• Evidence of CORU registration or proof that an application is underway.
• At least one year of experience working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
• Familiarity with current national and sector-specific policies in disability social care services.
• Competency in developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans to meet individual needs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in IT tools relevant to the role, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
• Possession of a full driving license and access to a personal vehicle is mandatory.
