About the Organisation
Camphill Communities of Ireland (CCoI) provides support to people with physical and intellectual disabilities, as well as autistic people, through residential and day services delivered across 15 locations. The organisation’s focus is to help residents and day attendees live everyday lives and participate in ordinary community life.
Role Overview
CCoI is hiring Social Care Workers to join its teams in Kilkenny. This is a permanent position with full-time and part-time options available.

What the Role Offers

Key Requirements
- A minimum qualification at Level 7 on the QQI Framework, such as a BA in Social Care Studies or an equivalent qualification in health or social care
- CORU registration, or evidence that an application is already underway
- At least 1 year of experience supporting vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities
- Good awareness of current national and sector developments relating to social care in disability services
- The ability to use support plans and methods, review them, and help improve them to meet ongoing individual needs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Competent IT ability, including Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams
- A full driving licence and access to a car are essential
